My story
At 5littleSnuggleBugs, I am a dedicated Early Years Educator and Babysitter committed to crafting exceptional early learning experiences. My focus lies in providing reliable and innovative solutions for your child's growth, driven by a deep respect for quality care and a genuine desire to exceed expectations for both children and parents. I Fell in Love with caring for children in 2006 when I started my own Babysitting Business in Emerald in Queensland. It started out with caring for children of family friends and work colleagues’ children and my business grew through word of mouth. I then moved to Mudgee in 2011 and had my first child in 2012 and am now a Mum/bonus Mum to 5 in . 1 of my children has Cerebral Palsy and Intellectual Disability and 2 have level 2 Autism so inclusion is extremely important to me and I strive to make all activities and experiencellinks inclusive to every child. Throughout the years I kept my Babysitting Business on the side whilst working in hospitality, Pharmacy and Crèche but had to give it up in 2020 when I moved to Dubbo for my son deteriorating health and had time off to concentrate on his health and rehabilitation. He had Major brain surgeries in 2021 in which the left side of his brain was removed completely in a hemispherectomy and it improved his health and our happiness completely. In Early 2024 as a family we were ready for me to go back to work to work in the career I was passionate about as an Assistant Educator at a Long day-care. While the experience was amazing over my 2 years it just wasn't working for my family. I intend on staying in the childcare profession with a more flexible work/home life balance which has led me on this path to reopening Amy's Babysitting Service (Now 5 Little SnuggleBugs)
